Update: Drive-By Shooting Wasn’t Random

A Wednesday night shooting near downtown Fort Wayne wasn’t random. Police say 36-year-old Derek Taylor was intentionally targeted in the shooting outside a cell phone store on East Lewis.

Taylor was released from the hospital yesterday.

One man is injured after an apparent drive-by shooting last night in Fort Wayne. According to our news partners at 21 Alive, it happened outside a cell phone store on East Lewis Street.

Witnesses say, a gunman inside a black SUV opened fire and zoomed away. At last check, the man was listed in critical condition at a local hospital.
