Update: FWPD says man suffered from puncture wounds

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police say the victim injured in a reported Sunday shooting was not shot.

Officers responded after 3:30 p.m. to the 1500 block of E. Paulding Road after a reported shooting. Now, police say Michael P. Stratton, 27 of Fort Wayne, was injured after he was struck by an object that caused puncture wounds.

Police have no update on his condition, but he was last reported in critical condition.

Investigators say they are still interviewing possible suspects and witnesses in the incident.
