FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man who was found guilty of robbery and murder was caught on camera beating the owner of a Fort Wayne convenience store.

The trail for 26-year-old Sanchez “Chaz” Williams began on Tuesday. He was convicted on Thursday.

According to the Journal Gazette, a surveillance video presented to the jury portrays Williams beating 21-year-old Moath “Mo Nassir in the parking strip just outside Nassir's store on McKinnie Avenue.

The beating lasted for nearly 4 minutes outside Big Al's Convienence Store and Nassir was shot shortly after.

Williams is a convicted felon who was found guilty of murder, felony murder, and robbery in connection to Nassir's death.
