UPDATE: Massive Fire In Downtown Fort Wayne On Herbert Street

Fort Wayne,IN(WOWO): The multiple structure fire at 1200 Herbert Street in downtown Fort Wayne that started yesterday is now under control. Crews were called to the location just after 2:00 p.m., and found multiple buildings, including storage units and a warehouse on fire.

Fort Wayne Fire Department Public Information Officer Stacy Fleming said that authorities are unsure exactly how many buildings have been destroyed and/or damaged at this point. Multiple power crews are also on the scene, and it's being reported that they have cut power to the structures. Police have closed several streets,as well as the Tecumseh Street bridge. Two firefighters were treated for minor injuries on the scene.
