US 31 Narcotics Sweep Yields 67 Arrests, Drugs

PERU, Ind. (AP): Indiana State Police say a narcotics sweep along U.S. 31 in northern Indiana has resulted in 67 arrests including 21 on felony charges. The sweep over five days last week captured LSD, heroin, marijuana, ecstasy and unknown substances that haven't been identified. All of the drugs were found during traffic stops made by state troopers and officers from Cass, Fulton, Miami and Wabash counties.
