USDA Annouces D-SNAP Assistance for Harvey Victims

Texans recovering from Hurricane Harvey could be eligible for disaster food benefits from the USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, also known as SNAP. Cora Russell, who helps coordinate emergency food programs for the USDA, says Disaster SNAP or D-SNAP is for victims who don’t usually qualify for assistance.
