Van Buren Town Marshal arrested on burglary and theft charges

GRANT COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The Van Buren Town Marshall has been arrested on burglary and theft charges.

49-year-old Donald Bosley is accused of stealing prescription drugs from another man’s home. Officers with the Indiana State Police Department tell WOWO News, the homeowner caught the May 31st incident on his video surveillance system. The homeowner says the video showed a man, who he recognized as Bosley, enter his home in full police uniform. Then the thief took the medications.

Bosley was arrested and incarcerated in the Grant County Jail on the following preliminary charges:

  • Burglary, Level 4 Felony
  • Theft, Class A Misdemeanor

Bosley is being held on a $20,000.00 bond and additional charges are pending.
