KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. (WOWO): A sex offender that the Allen County Sex Offender Registration Team has been looking for since late January was found in Oregon.

Police say Stanley Ray Osborne, 34, went on a multi-state crime spree since late January and ended up in Klamath County, Oregon.

He was arrested and booked into the county jail there because he allegedly was in possession of a stolen car and gun.

Osborne reportedly is facing multiple theft, robbery, and armed robbery charges out of Boone and Montgomery Counties in Indiana as well as Illinois, Oklahoma, and Arizona. It’s unknown when he will be returned to Allen County for failing to register as a sex offender.

The Allen County Sheriff’s Department believes that media coverage of Osborne’s wanted status led to his arrest.
