Winona Lake Man Facing Rape Charges

WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): Tuesday afternoon, Warsaw Police arrested a 50-year-old Winona Lake man for forcing himself on a 17-year-old girl from Warsaw.

On April 6th, Warsaw Police were called to Kosciusko Community Hospital for a possible rape case. Investigators found that Michael Elliott, forced the 17-year-old girl into performing sexual acts at her Warsaw residence.

Police sought arrest warrants for rape, a class B felony, and sexual battery, a class D felony against Elliott and served those warrants on Tuesday.

Elliott was transported to the Kosciusko County Jail and booked on the charges listed above. He's being held on a $50,000 bond.
