Two Die in Boone County Crash after SUV Blows Tire

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (AP) – Police say a tire blew on an SUV, causing the vehicle to crash and kill two occupants near Indianapolis.

Boone County police say the crash occurred Tuesday afternoon near the intersection of 96th Street and Zionsville Road on Indianapolis' northwest side.

Police say the right rear tire blowout sent the SUV crashing into another vehicle before overturning.

Roads in the area were expected to be closed for several hours.

The names of the victims were not immediately released.
