Winter Storm ADVISORY for Northern Indiana Monday Night

The National Weather Service has cancelled a Winter Storm Watch — and issued a Winter Storm ADVISORY for northern Indiana starting on Monday evening at 10 p.m. until Tuesday morning 10 a.m.  Tonight some light snow is expected to start the work week, but the biggest storm will be here by Monday overnight.

On Tuesday, look for accumulations of 3 to 5 inches of snow.  Cold air will also be moving into the area, with temperatures in the single digits and teens.  Luckily the winds will not be that strong at around 10 mph.  Visibilities may be reduced to one half mile or less at times.  This also means roads will become snow covered, slick and hazardous during the drive into work Tuesday morning.  Be careful traveling, and stay tuned to Fort Wayne's Morning News, and Time Saver Traffic for the latest road conditions.
