The National Weather Service has extended a winter weather advisory until 5:00 p.m. today for Allen County.

A winter weather advisory for snow means that snowfall will be sporadic throughout the day. Snow accumulation is expected to be between 5 to 12 inches.

Be prepared for snow covered roads as the highest amounts of snow are expected east of I-69, however, some locally higher amounts are possible.
