FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A woman failed in a bizarre bid to rob a Fort Wayne Walgreens Monday night.

Officer Michael Joyner of the Fort Wayne Police Department says Tammy Charles came into the Southgate Walgreens a little after 7pm and handed a pharmacist a note, demanding Oxycodone and Zanex, telling police that someone had kidnapped her daughter and sent her the girl's hand in the mail, saying if she didn't get the drugs then her daughter's head would be next. 

Charles has been charged with armed robbery and intimidation… as for her daughter, the story didn't turn out to be true.
