South Whitley, Ind. (WOWO): A elderly woman died Sunday in Whitley County after an apparent drowning. 74-year-old Bonnie Knetter was pronounced dead after being pulled from a pond on County Road West 500 South, that’s near South Whitley. According to the Journal-Gazette, Knetter had Alzheimer disease. Results from an autopsy are expected later today.
