HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WOWO): About 180 new jobs are coming to Huntington.

Continental Structural Plastics will spend $33.5 million on an expansion that could create up to 180 new jobs, according to Inside Business.

The company had a groundbreaking at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday for the expansion of about 6 acres of land and 130,000 square feet of manufacturing space.

This news comes after an announcement earlier this year that United Technologies Electronic Controls was planning on relocating its Huntington factory to Mexico. Seven hundred people will lose their jobs because of the move.

A branch of UTEC is taking 1,400 Indiana jobs to Mexico.
