FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Charges have been filed against three Fort Wayne people accused of stealing from Lowe's.

26-year-old Spencer Wiles, 30-year-old Gary Fitzgerald, and 34-year-old Tequila Fyda are accused of returning merchandise that was never purchased and often didn't leave the store.

According to the Journal-Gazette, the three are accused of returning merchandise for about $3,300 in gift cards.

Each of the suspects is charged with a count of corrupt business influence. The scheme was reportedly done as a way to get money to buy pain medication.
