4th Person Arrested in Indianapolis House Explosion

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – A fourth person has been arrested in connection with an Indianapolis house explosion that killed two people and damaged dozens of homes.

Marion County Prosecutor's Office spokesman A.J. Deer said 44-year-old Gary Thompson was arrested Wednesday. Deer says formal charges haven't been filed yet and no other details on Thompson's alleged involvement were available. Prosecutors expect to discuss the case Thursday.

The November 2012 blast killed a couple living next door to the home that exploded. Homeowner Monserrate Shirley; her former boyfriend, Mark Leonard; and his brother, Bob Leonard, face murder, arson and conspiracy charges in the case.

A judge is considering a plea deal in which Shirley would plead guilty to two counts of conspiracy and testify against the Leonards.

Deer didn't know if Thompson has an attorney.
