IPFW and Purdue to Break Up?

Could IPFW survive on its own as a university? There are some faculty members who want the state to allow them to study that idea and determine if the university with 14 thousand students can make it without the help of Purdue. Their new president, outgoing Governor Mitch Daniels, says it’s a question that needs to be asked and explored. State lawmakers will debate the question at the state house in early September.
