Just as I don’t vote for a pastor in November, I don’t expect to hear theology on Fort Wayne’s morning news. To cover the debate and decisions of a major church body is news. To clearly take a “side” and to use your bully pulpit to put forth your interpretation of biblical texts with no alternative opinion presented – especially in a community where there are plenty of theologians who could present a well-reasoned alternative view – seems to violate the trust of the WOWO listening audience.
