Tippecanoe County Man Faces Multiple Felony Charges

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. — A man in Tippecanoe County is facing multiple felony charges after an OWI investigation led to the discovery of one pound of methamphetamine in his vehicle.

The investigation began with a call reporting a possibly impaired driver on I-65 northbound.

Indiana State Polcie said the driver, identified as 46-year-old Brooks Johnson, resisted troopers during a traffic stop and was found with a firearm.

A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of the meth.
