FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Fire Department was called to a house fire on St. Joe Rd. just before 6 last night. When the first crews arrived, they were met by the home owner who said everyone was out of the home. The fire was contained to the kitchen and under control in 10 minutes. The home suffered heavy smoke damage. The cause is still under investigation.
