ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The Allen County Sheriff’s Department and Fort Wayne Police Department have been receiving several phone calls about a circulating phone scam.

Allen County residents are being called and told that they owe a debt.

The scammers are saying that they’re with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department and if the victims don’t pay up, there will be a warrant issued for their arrest.  

Officers with the Allen County Department say, if you receive a phone call like this, don’t send any money.
