Crews Testing for Sewer Leaks

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne City Utilities will be “smoke testing” sewer lines in the North Highlands neighborhood just northwest of downtown starting Monday. This will allow crews to find leaks and other problems that are leading to sewer overflows. The smoke being used is non-toxic and shouldn't enter any homes, but if it does, property owners should look for nearby City Utility crews or call 311. The testing is expected to be completed within two weeks.
