Barricaded Suspect Surrenders

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  A barricaded suspect surrenders peacefully after a three hour standoff in Fort Wayne.

For more than three hours, 24 year old Joshua Logue held out in an Oliver Street home.  According to police, Logue and a female were involved in a fight earlier in the afternoon.  Officers were called at 4:24 p.m. but Logue refused to leave the house.

Nearby neighbors were evacuated from their homes for their safety during the standoff.  Several roads were also temporarily closed for public safety.
Just before 8 p.m., members of the Emergency Services and Crisis Response Teams persuaded the man to turn himself in.  Logue is charged with domestic battery, a felony count, and strangulation.
