HARTFORD CITY, Ind. (AP): A northeastern Indiana city councilman and retired teacher has agreed to plead guilty to child molesting charges.
 
       Hartford City Councilman John Adams was charged last year with sexually abusing two boys, with prosecutors saying one of the boys was 8 years old when the molesting started.
 
       The Star Press of Muncie reports Adams will face up to 10 years in prison under the terms of the plea agreement to three counts of child molesting and one count of sexual misconduct with a minor. He is scheduled to appear in a Blackford County court on July 21.
 
       The 66-year-old Adams is a retired Blackford High School art teacher who was elected in 2011 to his third term on Hartford City's council.
