INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Police say a gunman was not provoked before he shot a clerk in the head during a robbery at an Indianapolis convenience store.
 
       City police Sgt. Kendale Adams says officers found the 45-year-old man wounded when they arrived Wednesday night at the Kicks 66 station on the city's southwest side.
 
       Adams says the man was hospitalized in critical condition Thursday. He says detectives believe the gunman fired three shots before forcing another clerk to open the cash register and give him money. The man then ran away from the business.
 
       The other clerk and two customers who were at the store weren't injured.
