FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): As of this morning, construction work is taking place along Lake Avenue between North Anthony Boulevard and Hobson Road. Work will be on Lake Avenue near Randallia Drive and Lake Avenue near Hobson Road.

This work will allow City Water Maintenance Service contracted crews to do concrete restoration on old patches. There will be temporary detour for Lake Avenue traffic using North Anthony Blvd, State Blvd, and Hobson Rd during daytime hours for concrete removal. Traffic will be opened under lane restrictions for the remainder of the project.

It is expected that the work will be completed by Friday June 20, 2014.
