122nd Fighter Wing Hosts Groundbreaking Ceremony

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Thursday afternoon, the 122nd Fighter Wing, which flies the A-10 “Warthog” airframe, hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for a new Munitions Storage facility that will be built soon.

Colonel Patrick Renwick, the new base commander says, it's a boost of confidence for the Air National Guard Base. Exact details on the types of materials the building will store, have not been released, but Renwick says, the materials will largely support training operations. The new facility will also replace the currently used smaller building, allowing for easier tracking and maintenance.
