FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Strike up the band. A local university will do just that.

The University of St. Francis says they are starting an marching band and it will be ready by the fall of 2016.

St. Francis officials say they are planning for a 100 member band and color guard. They'll also offer scholarships.
