Major Fort Wayne Construction Project Approved

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne City Council gave initial approval Tuesday night to a major construction project. The $2 million dollar plan includes resurfacing and reducing the number of lanes on Jefferson Boulevard between Broadway and Calhoun, that according to the Journal Gazette. The project will also involve adding new sidewalks, bike lanes, lighting, and trees between Fairfield and Ewing. Work is expected to be completed this fall.
