Accidental Fire On Fort Wayne’s Northeast Side

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An accidental fire broke out on Fort Wayne's northeast side.

Crews got the call around 6:04 p.m. on Thursday night leading them to a house fire on Anderson Ave. near Spy Run Ave. Crews found heavy smoke and fire coming from an upstairs bedroom on the front side of the home.

Luckily no one was seriously hurt. However 1 adult did receive minor burns, while 1 child was able to escape safely. It took crews about 10 minutes to get the blaze under control.

They say the investigation has been cleared, and the fire determined accidental by nature.
