BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) _ Police say mushroom hunters found a man’s body in a wooded area near an entrance to Morgan-Monroe State Forest in central Indiana.

State conservation Officer Angela Goldman tells The Herald-Times that the 52-year-old Greenwood man appears to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

The body was found Wednesday evening about 200 yards off a road some 10 miles north of Bloomington.
