Retirement Survey Shows 1/3 of Americans Will Work Until They Die

INDIANA, (WOWO): A new survey shows one-third of Americans say they will have to work until the die.

The Wells Fargo study specifically says 37% of people don't ever expect to retire, until they are too sick or die. Survey respondents say paying the monthly bills is their highest priority and saving for retirement is a distant second. Bank leaders says that's especially concerning, because the economy has improved in the last few years, but the middle class is not feeling it when it comes to their own situations.

Just fewer than 35 percent of people say they will have to work until they are at least 80 because they have not saved enough.
