LAKEVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana State Police are investigating an alleged battery involving a LaVille Elementary School bus driver and a student. 

The student, a minor, reported the incident to school officials the same day it happened, October 24th, 2013. The child said to have been slapped by the driver shortly before getting off the bus in the parking lot of LaVille Elementary in Lakeville. 

School officials reported the incident to the Indiana Department of Child Services who referred the case to the Indiana State Police.
