Revitalization Planned Near Jackson’s Boyhood Home

GARY, Ind. (AP): A Georgia-based nonprofit founded by the late Habitat for Humanity founder Millard Fuller will oversee a project in Gary aimed at revitalizing an area of the city near Michael Jackson's boyhood home. Reports say four homes will be built in a two-block radius and the mortgages will be held by the Christian-based Fuller Center for Housing. Families can purchase the homes for about $50,000 with no interest and pay them off in about 10 years.
