DNR Awards $690,000 in Waterway Improvement Grants

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Six Indiana counties with lakes and rivers plagued by logjams or sediment accumulations are sharing more than $690,000 in state grants. The state Department of Natural Resources says the grant money will go for log or sediment removal on seven lakes and four waterways in Brown, Elkhart, Greene, Kosciusko, LaGrange and Steuben counties.
