Regional Silver Alert Issued for Lake Station Man

LAKE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A Regional Silver Alert has been declared for a Lake Station man. The Lake Station Police Department is investigating the disappearance of 66-year-old Ronald Skertic. He's described as a white man, standing 5' 10″, weighing 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Skertic was last seen Monday at 8:00 P.M. at the Park View Nursing Home in Lake Station, about 34 miles east of Chicago. He's believed to be in danger and in need of medical attention. It's unknown what type of clothing Skertic was wearing at the time of his disappearance, but he's believed to be traveling on foot.
