MOORESVILLE, Ind. (AP) _ Authorities say heavy overnight rain in central Indiana led to a dozen homes being evacuated in the town of Mooresville and to numerous roads being partially or completely closed because of high water.

The National Weather Service reports some areas in central Indiana received 2 to 4 inches of rainfall early Sunday morning. Mooresville police dispatcher Dave Rogers reports 12 homes in the town 20 miles southwest of Indianapolis had to be evacuated because of flooding. He says no injuries were reported.
