Manufacturing Companies Concerned About Economy

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Indiana manufacturers are increasingly skittish about the state of the economy.

The 2015 Indiana Manufacturing Survey finds that the post-recession recovery is over for many Indiana manufacturers. 63% of them say the U.S. isn't likely to ever lead the world on the manufacturing front ever again. 88% think the federal government isn't doing enough to support the manufacturing sector and one in four think neither the federal or state government are really helping.

They say corporate taxes, healthcare costs, environmental mandates and the shortage of skilled workers are all making it tough for business.

The survey shows that while more Indiana manufacturers see better prospects for market growth, they're not very confident in their ability to turn opportunities into actual sales.
