Police Perform Drug Bust at Freimann Square

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A massive show of police manpower for a drug bust in middle of downtown Fort Wayne Thursday afternoon.

Nearly 30 officers including Chief Garry Hamilton corralled suspects at Freimann Square.

The raid happened around 3:20 at the downtown park.

Three people were arrested for drug dealing while two others were taking into custody on outstanding warrants, possession of paraphernalia and false informing.

The bust comes after police received numerous complaints about drug dealing and investigators began monitoring the area around the clock.
