FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne is giving some big Christmas gifts to three local organizations.

The foundation is giving $100,000 each to Community Transportation Network, the Embassy Theatre Foundation, and Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities. 

These are not the usual quarterly grants that Community Foundation hands out. In a statement, executive director David Bennett says these three grants are capital grants. The Community Foundation's Grant Review Committee determined that all three groups had capital projects that would both transform and benefit a large part of the community.
