Safety Director: triple killing meant to “send message”

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Whoever killed three men at a home near downtown Fort Wayne last week wanted them dead badly.

That’s according to Public Safety Director Rusty York, who told the Journal Gazette the three were each shot multiple times in what he defined as an “execution style” killing that was apparently meant to send a message.

Two of the victims were Muslims, one was a Christian, and police don’t believe religion was a motivator in their deaths.
