FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man was charged with child molesting in Allen Superior Court Monday.

Scott A. Williamson, 55, could face 2 to 12 years in prison and a fine up to $10,000 if convicted, according to the News-Sentinel.

According to court documents, Williamson allegedly went into a girl’s room under the age of 14 and fondled her. The incident happened sometime between September and Oct. 31, 2015.

The Department of Child Services learned about the incident in November.

The victim’s parents weren’t aware of the incident until the girl told her therapist.
