Zimmer Biomet employee hospitalized after small explosion

WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): A Zimmer-Biomet employee has been injured after a small explosion.

The explosion happened in the 9 a.m. hour Tuesday at the medical device company, according to News Now Warsaw.

According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, fire trucks were not called to the scene, however EMT’s were called to treat the victim.

An investigation is taking place as to why the explosion occurred. The status of the victim is unknown at this time.
