Public input desired on downtown parking study

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The City of Fort Wayne’s Redevelopment Department is asking for the public’s input next week on findings from a recent downtown parking study.

The public meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29 in the Omni Room in Citizens Square, located at 200 E. Berry Street.

The study, which cost nearly $99,000, looked at the inventory of available downtown parking, current and future demand, and ways to accommodate growth.

There will be a 20-minute presentation of the findings of the study. Residents can then visit with city staff and consultants to provide input on the recommendations from the study.
