City Announces “Wayfinder” Project

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The mayor wants to make Fort Wayne friendlier to visitors. And he wants to use legacy funds to make it happen.

Mayor Tom Henry says the city is seeking bids to construct and install the signs at more than 50 locations around the city.

The four-by-eight foot signs will serve as directional markers to key city attractions. The project is expected to cost more than $300 thousand dollars. The mayor says its important for the city to put its best foot forward.
