A close call for a Warsaw woman after a train hits her car…

A close call for a woman in Warsaw today after a collision with a train; it happened just after 8:30 this morning when a car crossed the tracks at Market Street with a train headed its way.

The intersection does have crossing signals but no arms, and its unknown if the driver was aware that the train was coming.

The train then pushed the car two blocks before it finally dislodged from the engine. Amazingly the driver was shaken but not injured. The crash closed down crossings from Fort Wayne St. South to Ranch Road.
