Karen Francisco is the Editorial Page Editor for the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette to talk about this Sunday’s issue which has an editorial about a letter sent to the IU and Purdue presidents from an influential group of community leaders. They are objecting to the Legislative Services Agency report recommending Purdue take over most of the university’s programs. They also take issue with claims by the university that the Fort Wayne/Northeast Indiana community support the recommendations. They also have an opinion piece written by a Canterbury student who is Harvard bound this fall. They asked her to address Fort Wayne’s brain drain problem, and she’s written a very honest and interesting response.
