Another BAE worker admits to wire fraud

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Another former BAE worker has pleaded guilty to stealing from the company.

Jessica Shutt is the 11th former employee of the Fort Wayne defense contractor – and the fifth in a week’s time – to plead guilty to wire fraud for taking money from the company’s tuition assistance program.

Her plea deal drops a second wire fraud charge and calls for her to repay $12,000 she pocketed from the company in reimbursements for college courses she never took.

The Journal Gazette reports a total of 31 former BAE employees took almost $800,000 through a scheme to steal from the program.
