Attempted Armed Robbery at Marco’s Pizza

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Police were called to Marcos Pizza on St. Joe Center Road, Thursday morning on report of an attempted robbery. When officers got to the scene, they talked to employees and a manager who said he was in the back when he heard the front door open. He walked to the front and encountered a man who had a silver gun. The suspect told the manager to give him money. Two employees ran out the back of the store when they saw what was happening. Then the suspect also left the building, and according to the manager did not get away with any money. The suspect is described as 5'8″ or 5'9″, wearing all black with a hood pulled over a red sock hat and a white and black bandana pulled over his face with a design on it. Police are still investigating.
